Goodreads asked Leta Blake:

What are you currently working on?

Leta Blake I'm currently working on about four and a half different book projects. They are all at various stages of development. It's exciting to try to juggle them all, but also really inspiring.

1) The Training Season sequel. This is in the drafting stage and is about 60% complete. I am excited to be in the home stretch and hope to have it completely drafted by the end of February or at least the second week of March.

2) A Woke-Up Married romantic comedy. This is already drafted and is in the editing stages. I'm co-writing it with my pal Alice Griffiths and we hope to submit it to publishers by June or August at the latest. It's very different from my usual angst-fests and so I'm excited about that.

3) A Rock Star/Priest emotional-wreck-fest. This is a co-writing project with Indra Vaughn. We are in the planning/outlining stages at the moment, but we have a good grip, I think, and will hopefully begin drafting in earnest this month and have a full first draft by May at the latest. We'd love to submit it to publishers by June or August as well. I'm a so excited for this one! :D

4) Football player/male cheerleader with a dramatic twist. This is something I am in the outlining stages of and will try to get a draft of it mostly finished during my week long writing trip in March. It will then need many edits and probably will not be utterly complete, but I'll put it aside at that point until I've finished the Rockstar/Priest book with Indra. So, my goal is to have it drafted, edited, and published by September.

4.5) The final book in my four book Pictures series. It is a coming of age series set in the 1990s with enough angst and drama and lying and hiding and discovery and drag queens to fill a soap opera. But I hear it's pretty emotionally engaging and my beta readers have strong feelings about the series. One has had dreams about it and another re-reads the ones she's got on a regular basis. I take this as a good sign. Once I get the last book drafted, I will release the first in the series. I'm waffling on how I want to release it, though. I could do one every month if I wait and put the first one out in, say, February 2016. Or I could release the first in November 2015, and then do a release every two months through May 2016, but I'm not sure if that's...what readers would prefer? I don't know. Part of me is tempted to just drop all four books at once and say THERE YOU GO! :) I don't know. Thoughts on that?

And that's what I'm working on right now!
