Hi, Penelope! When you began to query for agents for Bully, how long did it take you to sign with someone? How long did it take for a publisher to buy the manuscript? How long before you were able to pursue writing full-time? I apologize if my questions are too invasive. Love your work! I cannot wait for Will and Emmy's story and the next gen Fall Away books!!

Hey, Shaina!
I'm actually not the best person to ask about that. I was very lucky, because all I did was write. Everything else fell in my lap. My agent contacted me after Bully took off, and then after Until You was published, she put in calls to publishers. That only took a matter of weeks before we had interest. I didn't have to do any leg work to get my agent, or else I'm not sure I would have one. Lol.
And thank you! I'm so excited for every book to come. I wish I write faster!

Hello Penelope! I have to say I absolutely love your books and some of them I read more than once. I was wondering if you have any unpublished bits of Hideaway other than the one with Will and Kai? I have very much adored the book and twists of action but I would like to get some more insight into Banks and Kai's love story. Alternatively, would you consider a short story/spin-off about them? xo

Penelope Douglas:
what do you think of this: in a paralel world, you take a month break from work, and in this month you only read books that your readers would have voted. You know, so you can read our favorite stories and maybe write something similar? (Not that what you write isn't AWESOME, it's just 'cause these stories could inspire you) I know it's a weird question but hey, a girl can dream right? <3
