Since you do write historical romances, what is your fave historical era and why?

Hi, Esther! This one should be obvious, if you look at my books... the Regency era, of course! It was such a time of transition and contradictions, with the social, political and technological changes that were just barely starting. I'd always adored that era as a reader, so it only made sense that my first-ever story idea was set there.
