Not a question really but just wanted to say how ecstatic I am that you are going to Harrogate this year. I asked you last year and you said you couldn't make it so I was delighted to see you are this year. In fact I just bought a weekend long ticket just to make sure I get to meet you!!!!! :) Oh and I just realised goodreads won't let me post this without a question mark?

This will be my third trip to Harrogate. I was there two years ago, and then five years before that. There are some big names there this year! John Grisham, for one. Be sure to come up and say hello and get a book signed. See you in July.

I'm surprised at how few of these questions mention your memoir, Last Resort. It made me laugh, and sometimes cry, and I could not put it down. There were so many parallels to my own childhood. We had a trailer on Rice Lake for 10 years. There was a "make-out rock" there too! Must be mandatory;) Do you ever think of writing a sequel to Last Resort to cover the next chapters of your life?

Hi Linwood. We read "Too Close to home" and we are from Australia. I will add "a noise downstairs" to my to-read list. My daughter and granddaughter have purchased 3 of your books ( not sure which ones) and another one of the book club has ordered at least one of yours on kindle. I still have 2 more of yours waiting to be read. I notice you said you are writing the 2019 book. Do you try to write one every year?
