Lula immediately asks her to repeat it, then corrects Stephanie, because 1) that would make Lula "...a middle aged lady..." and 2) Lula says Stephanie's "mama" is 56. This suggests that Stephanie is relatively ageless, and Evanovich has now addressed the issue, not just in interviews, but in text. (less)
