Hi, I've just reviewed your book just released in Italy! I'm a fan of fantasy classics and I liked your modern style. Does the second book in the saga have anything to do with Clay and associates?

Thanks for reading it--and reviewing it. From what I gather the translator did an excellent job, and I'm expecting a pair of Italian copies at my door any day now!
To answer your question: yes, it's got a little to do with them. They're not the main characters, but a few of them appear briefly, and the story in BLOODY ROSE is affected by the story of KINGS OF THE WYLD, although both, I think, could be read by themselves. The second book follows Rose's band, Fable, and takes place about six years after the first one.

Hi, I know the characters in the book are mirrored after musicians, but who were your real-life influences? I ask, because there is a moment in the book where Clay's internal monologue speaks to Ganelon deserving the stone treatment. Later he contradicts himself, but in a good way. Was there a particular real life influence for Clay? Thanks
