Hi Michael, I've just finished Death of Dulgath and it briefly mentions the Westerlins. Any chance we will hear more about it and its inhabitants in a later installment? It sure does sound like an interesting place - if the rumors are true!?

Hey there,
You are not the only one who is curious about the Westerlins and what may lie within its boundaries. I do have some story ideas sketched out for that part of the world, but they are really no more than just that...ideas. Right now I have a long list of books on my plate:
- Legends of the First Empire edits for books 4 - 6
- Finishing The Arrow of Death (The Rise and Fall #1)
- Writing the last two books in the Risen and Fall series
- A Hollow World sequel
That's 8 books and until I get them out, no need to start thinking about others. One of the good things about being an author is you can write in the morning and "design" in the afternoons. That's when I do my brainstorming on such things and I jot down various plot points and put them away for future use. So...well see!

Dear Michael, my friends Mara Brewer and Roman S!delnik are the beginning writers. They have written a couple of books like "Softman" and others http://distribbooks.com/en/catalog.Their genres are fantasy, adventures, detectives. They are your fans and so am I. Could you write a review of "Softman" or advice somebody who could do this. Grateful in advance. Sincerely your, Isabella

Just finished the Legends of the First Empire series and loved it! I am planning on reading your older series which I understand takes place later in the same universe. Question: is there a difference between the "Riyria Chronicles" and "Riyria Revelations"? I'm a little confused about which book is first in that series or even how many books there are. Thanks in advance! ~Emily
