[SPOILER] At the end, Sazed (via the books he left to manking) tells Spook he helped a great deal by sending Goradel with a message (news of Ruin's mean of controlling people with spikes). I remember Goradel was killed by Marsh halfway before reaching his destination, and the metalic message being destroyed by Marsh. How is this helping in any way? Does the message found its way to a member of the crew even so?
