Do you have a procedure you go through before you start writing a book? I'm thinking of writing one and it would be great to learn from a wonderful and talented author such as yourself! You books are impeccable, keep up the great work!

That's a good question. I don't necessarily do the same thing for each book. But in general, I have a basic plot, I think of the characters that are going to fit inside that plot and how they need to grow or what they need to learn. I think of their strengths and their weaknesses. I usually know the climax of a book, what the plot is working toward. And I usually know how it's going to end. So this is all stuff I think about and ponder over before writing. I let it kind of sit in my brain and I imagine scenes and interactions between characters for a while. I kind of let my mind live in the world I'm making up for a while. Then I just start writing.

Hi! I read "Listen to your Heart" this summer and I loved every single part of it! Such a great book, it had me smiling the whole time and the characters were so real and relatable which is something you don't find in every book now a days. I just wanted to say thank you for making me happy and for inspiring me! Also, "The Fill-in Boyfriend" and "On the Fence" are awesome. Are there any new books coming soon?
