OMG I can't believe I'm doing this but I absolutely LOVE your books I've read them all as soon and they came out and I'm dying now the last one is over but I got some burning questions I gotta ask- Did Shahzad get with Ahmed and did Amani and Jin ever have kids? You're literally THE BEST AUTHOR EVER and the last book was the best thing ever!

So I have definitely thought about both these questions. However, while I am done with Amani's story, I am not quiiiiite done writing in the world of REBEL OF THE SANDS. And as such I'm hesitant to answer because it might be, one day, we wind up visiting Miraji 20, 40, or 60 years in the future, and I might wind up contradicting myself in the books, if for instance, I said that Amani and Jin never had kids, but suddenly it turned out Amani's granddaughter would make a great key character. You know?
However, I don't think Ahmed and Shazad ever became an item. It probably crossed their minds for practical reasons, but figured out they were better off staying just friends.
As for Amani and Jin having kids...I go back and forth on that one. I'll let you know when I know for sure.
