First, thank you :)
Second, I suppose my best advice just starting is to write a story that YOU would want to read. Don't worry about pandering or making other people happy. If you have joy in your heart while you're writing it, people will be able to sense that, like you can hear someone smile over the phone!
Annnndddd there are bunch of little procedural things I can help you out with when you're ready to publish lol

oh! and don't go on writing groups on the net. It's like reading a beauty magazine if you're a 13 year old girl, it will only make you feel ugly! lol

Book 8 in 2019??? I stumbled upon book 1. I say stumble because I was never into fantasy but once I saw that you were African-American I wanted to support....well I'm glad I did. I fell in love with the book and the genre. I have torn threw all 7 books/audio books and feening for book 8. Do you have an ETA?
