Am I the only one who got the characters confused?? In the beginning, it was pretty clear...Vanessa was the wife, worked at Sax and lived with Aunt Charlotte. Nellie lived with Sam until the wedding and worked with the pre school children. But later on in the book, it was like it was Vanessa talking about her best friend Sam and referring to when she used to work with the children. I'm still confused about that!
