Cassie asked:

Is this a series where I should read them in order to understand the plot or just a set of books with the same main characters?

McKenzie Smith I just picked up this book without realizing that it was a series and I had no issues with it. I loved it! I am, however, looking forward to reading the other books now.
J. F. "Thriller Ghost Writer" The few references to the past are given ample flashbacks. Reads as a standalone. Great book. Just finished "The Defense", Book 1, which also has quite an unusual plot and keeps you on the edge.
Kate I think it is from a series, but I read it independently and didn't have any issues.
Marie It is part of a series so to speak. I didn't know it when I got it, but it read great as a standalone. Though to understand Eddie Flynn's past - you may want to read the previous books. I picked up TH1RT3EN at the library as the plot grabbed me.
Trini Vergara After reading Thirteen, which one of his other books should I read next, which one is the best one?
