So I just finished Rattlesnake, which was awesome, and I had a quick question. Officer Ramirez, is he supposed to be from another book? Does he play an important role somehow? I was just confused because he seemed like he was going to be an interesting character but then just never came up again

That's a good question. He's not from another book--although I'd love to write more about him someday. He's there mainly for Jimmy to play off of. Their interactions are supposed to give us early insight into Jimmy's character. I am quite fond of him, though.

Hi Kim, just saw Corruption is now available as a book. Is it the same story as in On Heaven and Hell or are there changes? I enjoyed that story a lot (it's still the only one of that anthology that I remember) and always wanted to read more - so even if there are "only" changes I likely would download.
