Hi Jonathan, I've started Grey Bastards. The book was on my kidnle since 2016 so it's older version. Can you tell me if there'll be many differences between self-published GB and new version?
Jonathan French
Great question! There are a few very minor changes. Mostly, just a bit of polish. My goal from the start was to make sure that the readers of the self-pubbed version DID NOT have to re-read the new version. The editor I worked with was very good and understood my stance. So, you can read the version you've got on your Kindle and in March 2019 read the sequel and not be lost at all!
The biggest change is the cover art.
Thanks for taking a chance on the book. I hope you enjoy it!

I just finished reading The True Bastards and it was bittersweet. It's one of my favourite books that I've ever read and I didn't want it to end. What are some of your main influences when it comes to creating characters? Also, which authors are your main influences when it comes to writing? Keep up the fantastic work and I can't wait to see what you come out with next!

Just finished Grey Bastards on audible and loved it. Starting True Bastards and already chomping at the bit for Free Bastards later this month. Was wondering if there is any sort of Lot Lands wiki available - detailing characters, geography, common terminology, etc...? Since I'm experiencing The lot lands in audio form, sort of tricky to go back and ferret out specific references. Hungry for more lore. Thank you!

First off, I love “The Lots Lands”. It is one of the most unique book series I have had the pleasure to read in quite some time. Now, the first time you published the book it looks as if there was different cover art. This one looks to have Jackal and his hog on the front. Why font’s they seem to make this edition anymore, and if that is so if you know of anywhere that may still sell a physical copy?
