Genevieve Cogman It all comes down to how one defines "real names". During the first book she was thinking that the name she'd chosen for herself was her "real name", but at the point I think you're mentioning in the third book, she was considering that any name one is given is a sort of "real name"... It's a bit of a philosophical point.
