Honestly? I can only think of one. Someone waited for hours in a signing line and kept letting other people in front of them so they could be the very last in line. I kept thinking, that person MUST have a ton of books!
But instead, this person came up to me with no books, and said, “I’ve been waiting to tell you this for years. You plot like a dungeon master with one piece of graph paper.”
Triumphant, they strode off, leaving me to wonder what the HECK that meant. I finally found out later it meant that person thought I sucked at plotting, but ... it sort of hilariously misfired as an insult. I still think it’s funny.
My readers are amazingly wonderful, to be honest. I delight in meeting them.

Hey Rachel.Yesterday I finished Daylighters. I loved the whole of the Morganville series and I'm looking forward to hopefully reading more in the future. My question is this. Quite a few authors now sell their books signed online. Do you have an online store where you sell autographed books? I'm trying to collect signed copies of my favourite books and I would love one from you. It's hard being from the UK to collect.
