Why did Carrie steal Lo’s phone and then knock on Lo’s cabin door in the middle of the night?

I think Carrie knocked on Lo's door expecting it to be Richard maybe, or she intently knocked on her door to get Lo to follow her so she could lock her up and keep her out of the way.

That's just what I got out of it. Not a very good book in my opinion.(less)
