What inspired you to start writing a Young Adult Science Fiction Series after all of your adult books?

Brenda Hiatt Hi, Natalie! I'd always been a big Sci-Fi fan, starting with the original Star Trek series. (Come to think of it, I even watched "Lost in Space" as a little kid! LOL) After writing more than a dozen historical romances for big publishers, some with very tight deadlines, I was quite honestly burned out. I took a year off from writing, then decided to do something fun, just for me. The idea for Starstruck had been forming in the back of my mind ever since I started reading some YA fiction and really enjoying it. And sure enough, I've had a blast writing my Starstruck books! :)
