Hi, Mandie! The idea for the hero and heroine's first meeting was partly inspired by the way I met my hubby for the first time--on Halloween, in costume! LOL The rest of the book mostly grew out of the characters themselves, as many of my books do. I start with a "What if?" and then just start spinning possible scenarios until one clicks for me. :)
