Have you either written or considered writing historical fiction books?

Brenda Hiatt All of my historical romances have a fair bit of actual history in them, though some more than others. So in that sense, all of my historicals are historical fiction. The one book I've written that's closest to pure historical fiction, though, would be Ship of Dreams, which is completely based on an actual shipwreck that occurred in the 1850s. Nearly every character other than my hero and heroine were real people, and most of the events surrounding them were things that really happened. Needless to say, that book involved a LOT of research, but it was fascinating to write!
