When you write a book, what is the most important thing to keep in mind? How can we write a good book?
Gretchen Rubin
The most important thing is to have something to say. This sounds obvious, but whenever I struggle with writing, I stop and think, "What am I trying to say?" Once I know that, the writing comes more easily. To be a good writer, I also think it's important to read a tremendous amount.

One of the things I most remember from your blog or book is the idea of gold stars -- the ones you're expecting from your family for doing things but never get. I used to do chores for approval (I had a stepfather who organized and trained us all to do chores, and to do them well). Today, I seem to prize freedom from control or routine above all.... As a result, procrastination and disorganization….Solution?
