Are the places listed in Julian's notebook really the places his mom had gone to when she was still alive? What's the list all about?

Maybe one of the list just so happens to be the places shes gone but it looks as though for…moreWell I feel like it's just a quirky thing she likes to do. Maybe one of the list just so happens to be the places shes gone but it looks as though for the most part the lists are just factual stuff (top 10 coldest countries or foods that end with the letter "r". Perhaps making these lists was just a fun hobby for hers and she never meant for them to mean anything (less)
