Aaron asked Joel Norden:

What was the most difficult short story you’ve had to write and why?

Joel Norden That would be 'The Vicious Cycle' in the Crossroads of Draston anthology.

It dealt with racism and judging a person off of stereotypes, both serious real-life issues. I felt I did well with getting the wrongness of the scenario across, but the story felt a bit cut off. With the looming deadline, didn't have a whole lot of time to fix it.

As a reader had told me, it was enjoyable, but felt more like a prelude than a short story. I agree with that statement. Live and learn!
