How do you get inspired to write?

Duncan P. Pacey You know, there has never been a moment in my life where I haven't been inspired to write. I started writing short stories when I was five years old - one of my first tales was called "Three Eyes, One Life" and I could not tell you the significance of the three eyes, nor the one life. But there was a bunch of Pokemon rip-off monsters in it, because I was super into that at the time.

I've been writing pretty constantly since then, except a few years as a grumpy teenager when I mostly just drank Mountain Dew, hung with friends and played World of Warcraft. Oh high school, how I do not miss thee.
