Just finished reading Hum if You Don't Know the Words and really enjoyed it. Any chance you are planning a sequel(s)? I'd be curious to follow Robin and Beauty into the current day. :)

Thanks so much for the lovely feedback and for being in touch.

For me, Robin’s and Beauty’s stories are far from over and I really hope I build up enough of a readership that I do get to publish the sequel one day.

In the mean time, prepare to see a cameo appearance by Robin and Beauty (which takes place in 1996) in my latest novel ‘If You Want to Make God Laugh’ which will be published next year.

I have just finished reading 'If You Want To Make God Laugh'. It was amazing. Never in such a long time have I been glued to such a compelling and moving story. It has really stoked a flame in me to learn more about Apartheid as being from the UK and born in 89, it's something that I have always known of but never known about in detail. Are there any books you would recommend?

Never heard of you until 5 min ago--saw "Hum..." on Book Bub. Haven't even started it yet but know I will love it b/c I like the way you think. I volunteer in Kenya & SAfrica so I kinda get the backdrop. Last time I bought a book "on faith" as it were, it was D. Owens' ...Crawdads Sing (now numero uno on NYT) b/c I read her S. African nonfiction work back in the 1980s. Kudos & hoping for good things?
