When you wrote "Number The Stars", "The Giver", or "Anastasia At Your Service" did you intend them to be read by a certain age group, say, teens? I am losing more and more hope on the teen fiction genre, but you are one of my favourite authors growing up and I think your books are some of the few that add depth to this genre.

Lois Lowry I think books for kids are most often enjoyed by readers of the same age , more or less, as the protaganist
