How important is it to have read MERCY KILL before reading ANGEL OF MERCY?

Fergal F. Nally Hello Wordwizard, thank you for your query. Good question! There is quite a bit of backstory & worldbuilding & action in Mercy Kill which naturally flows into Angel of Mercy so it arguably would be more immersive to read Mercy Kill first! However, jumping straight in to Angel of Mercy cold is just as valid an experience (I know some people who always read the last page of a book first!)
