Kyle Belote Don't edit as you go, just write. How cares if it's not perfect, it's a rough draft. Great writing doesn't come in one sitting. Write, let it set, the rewrite. Then rewrite again, and again, and again. After about the fourth or fifth time, that's when the writing starts to shine. It's important to remember that editing and rewriting isn't about doubting your work or skill, it's about completing the story.
