You would play a perfect Vasya in the future production of your book's movie! Your picture bears a remarkable resemblance to the description of the girl in the book (minus the black hair). Mark my word, there will be movies. I'm nearly done with "The Girl in the Tower" and anxious for "The Winter of the Witch". Thank you for such wonderful works of literature! Is the third book still scheduled for August 2018?

Katherine Arden Lol you have never seen me act, Justine, "wooden" doesn't begin to cover it. But that is a kind thing to say. I am so glad you enjoyed my books. I also hope there will be movies. No plans as yet, but anything is possible. The third book is currently scheduled for August, but the wintry theme of the book makes it entirely possible that the publication will end up being in December, so we have the proper weather!

I've just finish the Bear and the Nightingale. You write the scenes in a way I can see it happening right in front of me. I wonder if someone ever wanted to make a tv show/miniseries of this trilogy, how would you feel about that?
