Lois Lowry:
What does a colorless world symbolizes in contrast to one full of colors and experiences? I have always thought this was to reduce, or exterminate, the controversies and the rebels. But what I mean is, how did you get the idea and what does it mean to YOU? Am I right about what it symbolizes? I'd love to hear your perspective because the idea is uncommon and fascinating.
