I'm just done with City of Brass, totally loved it. It is a very complex story line with tribes and long history of loyalty and hated. I cant imagine how you can wrap it up as a trilogy :-). So what is motivation/seed behind these books? "I'll be eagerly looking forwards for the rest of the books and good luck". Panindra

I want to let you know that i enjoyed the book very much and i am looking forward for the next installments in the trilogy. your work rekindled my love for arabian nights and reminded me of how much i loved those stories as a kid. I read your blog post about the middle eastern literature and added them to my to-read list. Do you also draw inspiration from any asian/indian literary classics?

Hey! I am really excited to read "The City of Brass". I have to say what sparked the interest of using the Islamic culture as a background for your world setting? Were you always influenced by it? (It's really offbeat, and I loved it, cause fantasy is filled with Medieval British setting) P.S.: Not wanting to sound racist, but your surname really suggested that you were from India, is there any connection?
