Strange, but I hated writing (way back) in high school - academic writing wasn't my thing then. But I discovered journalism in college and explored the nonfiction world, going on to write two books among other work. Bronxland was truly a labor of love, and my first dive into fiction, a coming of age story inspired by my own kids.
