Also this came up in my mind whilst reading, but what if the queens didn't kill eachother or there are 2 queens left after the whole Ascension Year, what happens? Do they wait until 1 remains or not?

If more than one remains by the next Beltane, they lock them up together in the West Tower. Basically turn it into a death house. Doesn’t take long after that, but it rarely happens. Twice, in recorded history? Maybe three times? I’d have to check.

Hi! So at school, in history were learning about the Battle of Hastings and ya know, the war that kinda happened with it. Long story short, three different people thought that they should be king of england and they decided to kill each other. In the end, William won, and he killed off Harold Godwinson who killed Harald Hadrada. Anyway, my question is, is 3DC based off this at all?
