Does one have to read the Lady Darby mysteries inorder?

Anna Lee Huber Hi Karen! Yes and no. Each Lady Darby book is a stand-alone mystery, and the reader would be entirely capable of understanding what is going on and where the characters are at. However, there are strong personal and romantic characters arcs that span the entire series, so the reader would not be privy to these nuances if the books are read out of order. Hope that helps!
