RuthAnne Snow asked Lillian Clark:

What made you want to write IMMORAL CODE?

Lillian Clark IMMORAL CODE at its core is about friendship. The five narrators love and support and, ahem, even break the law for each other, haha. They're devoted. And they're what made me want to write a book like this! I wanted to write about smart, ambitious, confident girls, and about supportive, driven boys. I wanted to write about friends that build each other up, that fight for each other, even when they're making wrong decisions for the right reasons. I love the moral gray area, asking big questions with complex answers. And I so hope I've succeeded in doing some of that with this book!
