How do you deal with writer’s block?

Guy Sagi As an editor in chief of several magazines over the course of 20 years, or so, I've learned no two people can hurdle this obstacle with the same technique. What works for me is to literally type, "Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country" multiple times, then deleting the entire mess. It's a push start for my creative gear, sort of. Usually I wind up ditching whatever falls on the page next, but getting the fingers and brain back on speaking terms seems to help.
