Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sterling Keyes I've always loved books set on a beach. It helps, that it's winter and it's below freezing temps with ice and snow everywhere--to escape to the beautiful, Shimmer Pointe Beach which is where this series is set. I got the idea for Shimmer Pointe from visiting Rehoboth Beach when I was 16. We stayed in my best friend's aunts beach house and walked to the beach and the boardwalk. It was a great place and has always left a lasting impression on me. I hope to return in the near future :)
