I'm confused about the whole concept of hockey clubs for adults. I get that high school age and younger kids play club sports but what's the deal with the A team with players 18 and over? Is it like farm teams for the NHL?

They don't pay very well, most of the club players are local kids who were brought up from the local junior team and the end goal of most players is to play for a U.S. or Canadian NHL team.

There wasn't a ton of info on it but this is what I gathered. If anyone has more info, please add it.(less)
