My favorite part of the process (aside from research which I LOVE) was working on a major revision after I sent my agent the first draft. The book is told in first person by the five main characters, and working on the second draft I pushed myself to get even deeper into each character's voice, individual arc, and their relationship with the other four. The process made me fall even more in love with each of them and the book as a whole.
