What inspired you to write The Distance Between Us?? I'm currently reading it and I really like it so far!!

Kasie West The Distance Between Us, unlike all my other books, was inspired by a setting. For months I sat in front of a porcelain doll store waiting for my daughter while she had music lessons at the store next to it. And for months I told myself it would be an awesome setting for a book. At first I thought it would be a fun creepy book. But as I started writing, it came off more funny than creepy so I just went with it. :)
