Part of it might be because I have known many families …more"Enjoy" may not be the right word for my feelings about this book, but I couldn't put it down. Part of it might be because I have known many families in the Latter Day Saint survivalist community (though I am not myself LDS and never could be) and I have seen both the good and the tragically bad sides of this culture. When someone displays courage in the face of great odds, it uplifts me. That is what I felt about this book: it uplifted me. (less)
