Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Jeffrey Quyle My current series, the Memory Stones, actually started when I wondered if there was something to try writing in the fantasy genre that would provide an analogy to our use of smart phones. We're all so dependent on them!

I hit on the idea of the memory stones to fill that plot point. As anyone who has read the series knows, I haven't stuck very closely to that focal point since the first novel in the series - the characters and the plot have wandered away from the use of the stones, though they occasionally do make an appearance in a perfunctory fashion.
