Vernie♡ asked Kasie West:

Okay, I need to ask, how do you write so many books? How do you have like one or two new books coming out every year? And they're always so amazing!

Kasie West You are sweet. And I have no idea. Ha. I'm tired? I'm crazy? So really, until this last year, I had more time. When I sold my very first book, Pivot Point, the lead time on that was insane. I sold it and it didn't come out for 21 months. So I had basically 2 years to write. In those two years, I only wrote the sequel to Pivot Point and The Distance Between Us. Then in the year that Pivot Point and The Distance Between Us came out (2013) I wrote On The Fence. So then Split Second and On The Fence came out in 2014. That year I wrote The Fill In Boyfriend and started another one. Anyway, I know you didn't expect my entire history with this answer. lol My point is, that for the early part of my writing career, I really was only writing like a book a year, sometimes a book and a half. But now, NOW....I'm tired. Now I have to write a book from beginning to end in 6 months. That's harder for me. I'm glad you like them and read them though. That makes it worth it.
