Goodreads asked Sharon Rowe:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sharon Rowe I was inspired to write my book by a friend who said I inspire her? I couldn't wrap my brain around it because she has a business, too, and it's much larger than mine in dollars and scope. I decided to dig into why she was inspired by me? If it wasn't the size of my business, what else could it be? Then I hit on how I approach my business in a much more "balanced way" putting family first and not fretting the small stuff. I have a profitable TINY business doesn't mean it's small (it's not - it's a million + business). It does mean it's intentional and lean by design. I decided to write the book to share what I learned about creating a business that made a huge impact (Time Magazine called us pioneers of the reusable bag movement) and has made me a good living without going big. In fact by subtitle is "you don't have to go big to make a great living." I think it should say "you don't have to go bog to make a great living or a big impact....unless you want to."

I wrote The Magic of Tiny Business to inspire others to get to work on their big give - their big idea. The world needs you!
