(view spoiler)[The Tearling books are some of my favourites, so right off the bat, thank you for writing them! As or my question, I found your decision to force Kelsea and the Red Queen to work together in the final book to be interesting and enjoyable. What led you to this decision? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Kristen, thank you. Frankly, although I had a lot of fun writing the Red Queen as a villain in the early going, I always knew she wasn't an inherently evil woman, but a victim of environment and circumstance. I thought that Kelsea would understand this too, particularly once the Red Queen is no longer a direct threat to the Tearling. Two smart, stubborn, committed women...under other circumstances, they might have been friends. As it is, a partnership of convenience was the most I thought they were capable of. (hide spoiler)]

Erika, I have yet to find any book (or series, for that matter) that moves me in such a way that your works do. The theme of society existing for the good of everyone is one I resonate with intensely. Your blend of realism, fantasy, and dystopia is gripping and as an avid reader, I have yet to read anything like it. Thank you for putting your ideas into these books. Will you bless us with any more Kelsea?

Not sure if this is stalkerish checking in every few months. I hope 2020 is the year for this next book!! I loved everything about this trilogy. I can't find anything similar as it is so unique, but is there anything you can recomend... or a book you were inspired by to help hold me over?
