Hello! I'm so excited for the 4th book to come out! There is something I'm curious about. In the race of dragons, what is the inspiration for their design? I've noticed mostly Chinese design, with some elements of western design thrown in, such as hoarding tendencies and wings. And might there be more western design dragons showing up in the future? Thanks!

Genevieve Cogman Thank you: I'm very glad you're enjoying them. My dragons are definitely Chinese in design (and I think Chinese dragons do have wings): I wouldn't describe them exactly as hoarders, but I don't think many dragons like losing their personal property (or what they consider to be their personal property).

There will be more dragons showing up in book four, so I hope you'll enjoy that.

I am reading The Invisible Library on my daily commute and I am so absorbed by the story that I keep missing my stop. This had never happened before, but is now happening so often that my hubby has started to worry and wait for me every day at the subway station, just in case I forget to get off the train.
