Hi! My name is Glynnis, and I'm a huge fan of your books. Since the movie for The Giver just came out, my question is pertaining to that. I know the movie gives more closure at the end than the book did. Is the ending showed in the movie approved by you? Was it fabricated by the directors or is that the way the story actually ends? Thank you for your writing; I have enjoyed your novels from a young age!

Lois Lowry The ending in the film is very much like the book, though with a little less ambiguity. A positive, optimistic, happy ending.

Hi! I am Mary from Argentina. Your book is not as well known in Latin America as in the US for example. I was wondering if there are any plans to advertise it more here, as it is great YA reading.
