I am a high school librarian and a teacher just donated this book to my library. Is it appropriate for high schoolers?

I woul…moreI don't personally think it is appropriate for all high schoolers, particularly sensitive students, and that's a pretty wide age range of kids. I wouldn't personally let my 13 year old read this; some parents might not appreciate it, either.
-The sex scenes are not overly detailed but there are some references.
-A lot of casual and irresponsible drinking on the main character's part.
-A fair amount of profanity.
-A male character mildly assaults a female character (describes him reaching down her dress and grabbing her breast; she then knees him in the groin to end the exchange)
-There is a graphic description of a disturbing dream. (less)
