Goodreads asked Gini Graham Scott:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Gini Graham Scott I don't experience writer's block myself, but for those who do, my suggestions are these: just pick out a time when you will be writing and sit in front of your computer or use a notebook. Then, during this time, start writing down whatever comes to mind. Don't try to edit or analyze it. Just write. Let your creative or intuitive mind lead the way. Later you can come back and analyze. Not sure what to write about -- just look around you and write down what comes to mind. Or think about something you experienced and in the news and write about that. Another approach is to come to that time with an outline of topics to write about and start writing about one of them. And to come up with your outline, just use the same process. Just write down whatever comes to mind and make your list. This is the process I used to write this just now.
